Some people charged with a DUI have what's known as a fight or flee mentality. They fantasize about, “Well what if I just disappeared? What if I didn’t come to court? The bondsman might be looking for me but that’s just a few hundred bucks. They're probably not going to come looking for me in the first place. Maybe I can move to another state. Maybe I just don’t have to come back to Georgia.” Well that's probably the worst thing you can do.

Today's computer systems being all linked together the first time you get pulled over, let’s say you’re in Texas and they see that you’re wanted in Georgia, they may hold you there until Georgia responds whether they're coming to get you or not. They might not come get you but seventy two hours or so sitting in jail waiting for an answer is not much fun and sort of hard to explain to the boss. Leaving something like this behind will come back to haunt you and it will catch up with you.

For example when you apply for a license in another state the national computer system has been in place since the September 11th 2001 terrorist attack and is going to catch up with you. They will put a block on you getting a license in that state or renewed if you already had a license in that state. Don't run. There’s no reason to do that. Why we're here is to help you get a good solution so that's not something that you even consider.
