If you watch the rest of these clips you're going to find out that I advise people who have no prior history, have not been in a wreck involving serious injury or death, and are under the age of twenty one to take the official test of the state of Georgia but take no field sobriety evaluations ahead of time. Now why do I say to take the official test for the state of Georgia? Because if you don't take that, you could suffer what’s called a “hard suspension”.

No right to drive for a full year. No right to drive to work or school, nothing. You’re not going to be able to drive period. If you refuse the other test you have not given them any type of evidence at the roadway that may be on videotape or on audio recording. You then get to the station and take the state test. Once you do, regardless of what the number says, the next thing you want to do is take an independent test. I'm going to talk about that next.
