One thing we try to do is to help our clients understand what to do when you come to court. How do you dress? What do you want to wear? What do you not want to wear? We try to make sure that you come to court to make the best impression possible on both the judge and the prosecutor because people who look like they care are sometimes treated a lot better than those who don't. We don't want you in court in shorts or a t-shirt or any type of casual wear because court is not a casual environment.

When you come to court we’re going to expect you not necessarily be dressed in coat and tie, not necessarily to be in a fancy dress, but we're going to have you in respectful normal clothing. We want you there to make a good impression when you walk in. We’re there to do the same thing and we need you there by our side when the court meets you for the first time.
