In about 98% of all DUI cases made in the state of Georgia there's a related proceeding to the criminal process and it's called an administrative license suspension hearing. If you took the test and were above the legal limit or if you refuse to take the test, you are going to be issued a 1205 form. This yellow 8x5 form tells you that your license is going to be suspended. You need to file a quick appeal to that within a 10 business day period.

I'll explain ten business days later but what's important about this is that if you go to that hearing it will happen before the criminal case. If we win that case or get a deposition out of the police officer with that, we can use this later for trial. That could end up resolving your case favorably. Don't miss the opportunity to file that appeal. You could be suspended and have no right to drive if you don't file it on time.
