Georgia Criminal Case Money Back Option
When you hire an attorney in a criminal case or any serious matter, even a divorce case, you're going to be in a relationship that is somewhat similar to a partnership or even a marriage for a while. You have to get along. You have to work with each other. When things are stressful for you, you can’t take it out on personnel and our office who are trying to help you. At the same time sometimes people just don't get along. They can’t work together. What we do in a case is that we're going to give you an opportunity to get your money back if you decide that you don't want us to represent you.
Now because so much work is involved on the front end of the case, there's some short time frames to this. For example, in the first ten days if you change your mind a 100% comes back. Within the first thirty days of hiring us we're going to give you 50% of your money back. We are going to have done so much work by then, that’s going to justify the cost and you can use any paperwork we started with another attorney. Why do we do that? Do we think you're going to take advantage of that? Nope. We don't think you can take advantage of it. Hiring an attorney is a scary proposition.
If you don't know that you have an out, that's even scarier. We give you this opportunity to reconsider what you did. We give you that opportunity because if you don't think we're doing our job, if we are not giving you the concierge service that we say we do, then you need to have an option to get out of the case.
