So you’ve been arrested, probably for the first time. This is not something that is pleasant to think about. Just remembering the sights, the sounds, the smells of jail is something that most people never forget. It’s a nightmare that keeps recurring. I am going to talk to you a little about that process and tell you what you need to be doing now to help improve your chances of winning your case.

The first thing that you need to do is write down a narrative of everything that happened that day from the moment that you got up until the time that you were released from jail. Try to give me as much detail as you can about who you talked to, what was said, by whom, in what sequence. So that we’ll be able to tell what happened in your case  that may actually benefit you and may help us find a way to win your case. This is a detailed process. I know that it is not much fun to go back over it but the sooner that you do this after arrest, the more information that you are going to remember to help your attorney win your case.
