Your Response to the Stress of a Pending Case
When people come to our office, sometimes they are so stressed out that they can barely sit in the chair. Sometimes they need Kleenex; we have those available. When a person comes in and says how am I going to deal with this for the next several months while this case proceeds. I try to calm them down and say look at it this way. Think of it as though you’ve purchased the first class ticket to San Francisco. You’re in the front seat; you get into the seat. They close the door and the plane taxies out and takes off. What can you do on the plane to help the plane get there other than just be a good passenger? If you will just look at your case that way. We are not going to throw you out over Dallas. If you hire us to win your case, we are going to do everything we can and we are going to give you a first class ride all the way to San Francisco.
