In the criminal process there are certain things that an attorney has the opportunity to do. First we have the opportunity to examine all the evidence that the state has in its file. If some of that evidence was either illegally seized or erroneously seized, which means the state did something incorrectly, we may have the opportunity to have that evidence excluded from trial. In DUI cases that's extremely significant. We have a chance to file what's called a motion to suppress.

We will have the opportunity to have the officer testify what he did and how he did it. As your attorney I will have the chance to ask him whatever questions that we deem relevant to hopefully exclude some of the harmful evidence in your case.
