In the book I wrote for clients called The DUI Book, chapter 4 is dedicated to the question of, “how do I select the best attorney to represent me?” I tell people if you're down to two or three possible options and maybe you've interviewed them or just checked them out, one of the best ways to make a final decision is this. Go to the court where your case is pending, sit and watch what goes on there on a day that they are having court that’s before your court date. When a break occurs, and it will, the judge will stop and get off the bench and take a break and come back everybody will be at ease for a while.

Talk to some of the people who are the players there, the clerk of court, a court reporter, the people who are the bailiffs, and say I'm down to considering x, y and z for my attorney. If it was up to you and money was not the object, who would you hire if you had to win your case? Now I want people to do that because I'm confident that in most courts that we've been in, our attorneys will get the nod. That's the best way, if you don't know an attorney to ask who to hire the, for you to find out in your court who's known for winning.
