When you come to our office and you’re going to be interviewed and considered as a client and you're considering us to be your attorney. One of the things we do that sometimes unnerves people and they ask, “Well, why are you doing this?” is we take a digital photograph of you. If there's anything unusual, for example, if you have eye problems or if you have any particular bruising or cuts that may have come as result of being arrested. We're going to take photographs of those too. We need to get that information on the front end. You may not hire us but we just put this in the file.

It’s digital information. If we need it later we can convert it to very nice quality photographs for trial. The photograph also helps us when we go to court. Let’s say that you’re my client and I’m away on another trial and you have a routine matter and you’re going to be in court. We don't want to have the attorney come into a full courtroom and scream your name out and see who you are because they can't tell from sixty, eighty, hundred people sitting in a courtroom.

It’s much more personal for them to have your photograph because we are going to send you their photograph so you'll know what he or she looks like who is covering for us. The benefit of having many attorneys is that we can use this process to make sure you always have someone in court and we have someone who knows what you look like so they can identify you without calling your name.
